What a Director Does

You Hold
The Ground

The organisation does not run national selections from a distance. It appoints someone who knows their country, its media, its venues and its men, and then backs them. That person is the National Director.

Run the selection

Open applications, shortlist, interview and choose the man who will carry your flag.

Build the team

Judges, choreographer, stylist, photographer, media. You assemble and lead them.

Stage the national final

Venue, production, sponsors, ticket sales. One night that sends a man to the world stage.

Coach your titleholder

Prepare him for the camp and the international final. Travel with him and stand behind him.

Guard the standard

Every territory is judged by the same eight pillars. You hold that line in your nation.

Grow the brand

Partners, press and community work in your territory. The licence is a business you build.

A track record

Events, media, business, sport or community organising. Show us something you have built.

Roots in the territory

You live there, or you are deeply connected to it. You know the venues, the press and the people.

A team, or the ability to build one

Nobody stages a national final alone. Tell us who is with you, or who you would bring in.

Commercial capability

The national final needs sponsors and ticket sales. You should be able to sell.

What You Get

A twelve month exclusive licence, renewable, with everything you need to run a national selection that meets the international standard.

Exclusive territory

One nation, yours alone for the term. Nobody else can run a Mister Afrikana selection there.

Brand kit

Logo, wordmark, templates, stage looks and asset library. Everything on brand, ready to use.

Onboarding and training

A full briefing on the format, the eight pillars, the judging standard and the reporting line.

Production playbook

Run of show, judging sheets, scoring, music cues and stage plan from the international final.

Revenue share

Keep the majority of sponsorship, ticket and partnership income you generate in your territory.

A seat at the final

Travel to the international finals with your titleholder and stand on that stage with him.
